Discovery
Upon an initial inquiry, our staff will match you with a member of our U.S.-based sales team from our corporate headquarters in Colorado. We are here to answer the critical questions you have relating to our services, our foundries, or your specific project requirements. Our project management team will walk you through a series of discovery questions to better understand your manufacturing needs, production timeline, country preference, quantities, and other vital factors to production.
SPECIFICATIONS
Once the discovery phase is complete, your dedicated technical project lead will request your drawings, including PDF 2D drawings and 3D files (if available). In addition to providing the part dimensions, the drawings must specify material, surface finish, tolerances, etc. We conduct a thorough analysis of your product drawings and specifications (free of charge) that uncover any potential design flaws which may affect the manufacturing of the product or the product lifecycle.
ASSEMBLY & MATERIALS
Some projects require assembly prior to shipping. In such cases, our project lead will request assembly drawings and a Bill of Materials. The Bill of Materials must contain all the raw materials, sub-assemblies, intermediate assemblies, sub-components, parts, and the quantities of each needed to manufacture your end product design. We carefully review your materials, accounting for all components, before proceeding with a quote.
TOTAL DELIVERED PRICE QUOTE
Within 3-5 days of receiving your drawings and design specifications, we will have a detailed price quote ready for your review. Upon request, and at no additional charge, we can also provide shipping and tariff estimates in your quote for a total delivered price. Upon your acceptance of the quote, we will request a PO (purchase order) from your organization.
FREE PRODUCT SAMPLES
Once we receive your PO (purchase order), we then begin a production run to create samples of your end-product – at no charge to you. We include shipment of samples at no charge as well. After a satisfactory inspection of your product samples, we request your written approval before starting production.
inspection & Approval
Upon receiving your written acceptance of the sample order, we will begin a full-production run to your complete order. We then schedule 3rd party inspections to carefully check the parts to verify your requirements before shipment to your destination. In rare occurrences where there are any quality issues, you will contact your Redstone Manufacturing project lead, who will expedite the replacement parts.
