How do customs and delivery work?

We quote a total landed cost, not just the part price. We are the importer of record and manage customs clearance from China, including correct HTS classification for your parts, then coordinate freight to your dock with tracking. Applicable duties and freight are quoted up front, so there is no surprise on the invoice.

How do I choose a reliable sheet metal fabrication partner in China?

Drawings stay inside Redstone's production network, and the end customer, industry, and application are not disclosed on the shop floor. For sensitive projects, Redstone can split production across multiple facilities so no single facility receives the complete drawing set, preventing reverse engineering.

Is there a minimum order for sheet metal fabrication in China?

There is no fixed unit minimum. Our quality program is built for ongoing production relationships, and China is efficient at low-volume sheet metal fabrication, so smaller initial orders are feasible when they lead to recurring production. We will tell you at the quote stage whether your program is a fit.

Can Redstone move my sheet metal production from a current China manufacturer?

Yes. Redstone regularly transitions customers from existing manufacturers into Redstone's vetted production network. Every facility we produce at is audited on-site against a formal scoring process before it takes work, and we can also shift production to our Mexico or India facilities when a different country delivers a lower landed cost.

What happens when a shipment fails inspection?

We catch most issues before parts ship. When something does fail, production stops, the affected lot undergoes 100% inspection, nonconforming parts are quarantined, and root cause analysis is completed before corrective action begins. Redstone guarantees the parts and will repair, replace, or refund, with replacement parts air-freighted when timing is critical.
