What design choices drive up CNC machining cost?

The most common mistake is over-specifying internal geometry: tight radii, fillet sizes, or edge-break callouts added in CAD for aesthetics rather than function. Cutters can break edges or add radii without those callouts, so specifying them unnecessarily drives cost. Tight internal geometry that requires specialty setups or slow feed rates on small-diameter end mills is a frequent hidden cost driver. Our engineering team flags these at the feasibility review.

What happens if a shipment from India fails inspection?

In-process and CMM inspection is designed to catch issues before parts ship. When something does fail, the affected lot is fully inspected, production is stopped, and nonconforming inventory is quarantined.
