Parts from our Investment Casting
manufacturers in india
Automotive parts make up about 30% of the market for investment castings in India. Investment casting is useful for parts that require a higher degree of precision than sand casting and as a result the cost is slightly higher. Typical parts made with investment casting include pump casings, impellers, gear forks, rocker arms, valve bodies and valve handles, although investment casting is also used for thousands of other applications.

Investment casting, also called lost wax casting, is a type of metal casting process. In this casting process, a wax pattern is made first and coated with a refractory material to make the mold surface. Then molted metal is poured inside and the wax is melted away. “Investment” means “to cover completely” which refers to the coating of the refractory material around the wax pattern. This is a precision casting process. Using this we can make castings of high accuracy with intricate details.
